Ron Ricardo

Brooklyn

Ron Ricardo, B.F.A. (University of Florida in Gainesville), is a photographer and artist living in Brooklyn, working as a photo editor/photographer for a fashion magazine, and studying at the Parsons School of Design in New York. A little over four years ago, he began to juxtapose found objects with photography, mount images in diptych or triptych fashion on old signs (wood or metal) or just paint, tear, bleach, etc... until they are barely recognisable. His subject matter has begun to lean more towards social and sexual issues that affect us today.
